TilePlannerX Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

TilePlannerX ("the App") is a tile-layout planning utility developed by Clinton Msafi. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App handles, how it is stored, and how it is used.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

All project data you create in TilePlannerX, including:

  • Project names

  • Room dimensions

  • Tile configurations

  • Patterns

  • Cost information

  • Other planning details

is stored locally on your device.

This data is not uploaded to or stored on any server operated by us.

3. No Account Required

TilePlannerX does not require you to create an account.

We do not collect your name, email address, or other personal information to use the App.

4. Data We Do Not Collect

TilePlannerX:

  • Does not collect or transmit your project or room data.

  • Does not sell or share your data with third parties.

  • Does not use your data for advertising or tracking purposes.

5. Device Permissions

The App may request permission to access storage when you export your tile plans as PDF or PNG files or save them to your device.

You may also share exported files through other apps of your choice. Once shared, those files are subject to the privacy practices and policies of the app or service you choose to use.

6. Third-Party Services

When you use the Share or Export features, TilePlannerX uses your device's built-in sharing system.

If you choose to share a file through another app or service, that service's own privacy policy and terms will apply.

7. Children's Privacy

TilePlannerX is a general-purpose home-improvement planning tool and is not specifically designed for children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Data Deletion

You can delete your saved projects at any time from within the App.

You can use Settings → Clear History or delete individual projects.

Uninstalling the App will remove data stored locally by the App from your device, subject to your device's operating-system behavior and any backups you may have created.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Any changes will be reflected in an updated version of this Privacy Policy provided with the App. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any changes.
